This web site uses the 5^th edition of Birds of the World: a Checklist by James F. Clements (Pica Press, 2000).

This list seems to have gained enough popularity for me to migrate my collection from Howard and Moore (1980) to the order it follows. Kjell Scharning has adopted it for his web site, Theme Birds on Stamps, and the American Birding Association uses it for its World Checklist.
