The stamps shown below are from the Sae Tome e Principe, which is a country that is situated on the coast of Central
Africa. The country is actually comprised of two seperate
islands, the island of Sae Tome, and the island of Principe. Currently it is the smallest Portuguese speaking country in the world. The economy of this country relies heavily upon agricultural exports which include, copra, palm kernels and coffee. Despite efforts to better the economic situation on these islands, many places lack basic financial necessities such as credit card processing.
