The prey item shown in the talons of this splendidly illustrated Ornate Hawk-Eagle has several identification features that it amazes me that I did not look more closely when it entered my collection. The white leading edge of the folded wing is an obvious clue, backed up by the dark mark on the cheek, and the blue area around the eye. I have added a link to an excellent photograph of White-winged Dove (Zenaida asiatica) that shows these features. I shall add this on my next update.
