The Bahamas has issued a set of six stamps celebrating the nature reserve, Harrold and Wilson Ponds on New Providence, close to the main centre of population. The two stamps I have not displayed show people bird-watching and boating. The stamps show a good selection of the species found on the reserve. We are not given any details of the species shown, so I have attempted to identify as many as I can. I believe we have a new species on the 25c stamp: Least Grebe (Tachybaptus dominicus).
