I first learned about this set through CASB's excellent site. Its format is similar to the set issued by Jamaica in 2004. Although this set also has the logo of the Caribbean Endemic Birds Festival, none of the species shown can be considered endemic to the Caribbean. All are migrants which spend the winter in the Caribbean. According to Raffaele's Birds of the West Indies, all ten species occur in the Virgin Islands, though a few only as vagrants. Five new species will be added to my collection - those on the 15c, 25c, 40c, 60c and $2.75 stamps.
