I first learned about this set through CASB's excellent site. However, at the time, I did not appreciate that the face value of the stamps, CI$47.40, is about US$57, (£31). The set is on sale for £61.08 which will put a strain collectors' budgets!

The Cuban Bullfinch is new for my collection, and there are a few near-endemics showing the Cayman subspecies.

Update 16 October 2006: The latest Gibbons Stamp Monthly is giving away the lowest 4 values of this set, with the option to buy the remainder of the set for £39.95.
