Following on from the set of 12 triangulars showing a splendid selection of the local avifauna issued earlier in 2001, Surinam has continued its long series of bird stamps with this fine pair, which was sent to me by a friend in the Netherlands. I am particularly pleased to see a wader this time: the first for Surinam on stamps.
