This excellent set was sent to me by a friend in the Netherlands. Fortunately for my collection, all of the species occur in Surinam, and there are 5 species which make their first appearance on stamps in my collection, with only one species, Hylocharis sapphirina, a repeat species. It is rather disappointing that there at least three typographical errors, including the same name being inscribed on both hummingbird stamps. This set brings the total of indigenous species on stamps for this country to 101.
