I first saw this set displayed on Herrick's web site and then again with a better image on Postbeeld's. It continues the annual series of splendid sets that started in 2001, and adds 3 new species to my collection: Golden-green Woodpecker, Red-capped Cardinal and Blue-backed Tanager. The Agami Heron appeared in the 2001 set with an almost identical image, whereas the Yellow-tufted Woodpecker, which appeared in 1998, has a new image.

A sheet consists of two sets joined by three labels, featuring Blood-coloured Woodpecker (Veniliornis sanguineus), Grey-breasted Crake (Laterallus exilis) and Black-spotted Barbet (Capito niger). The last is a mirror image of the one used in the Netherlands Antilles set of 2002.

This set brings the total of indigenous species on stamps for this country to 119.

Update: I have two spare sheets which I am prepared to sell at 28 Euros each, or I could split to a set with labels for 15 Euros and without for 14 Euros. Postage will be extra, and payment by Paypal. E-mail me if you are interested.
